Frequently Asked Questions

What length poem should I choose?

This is entirely up to you and will largely depend on the purpose of your personalised poem. If you would like to have the poem printed or engraved on a smaller item, up to 10 lines is probably best. If you’d like to display your poem on size A5, up to 25 lines looks great. Alternatively, if you would like to include a lot of information or to use the poem as a speech, you might want to consider up to 40 lines.

What if I can’t think of what to write?

I’ll send you a questionnaire full of prompts for things you could include. While the more information you provide, the more personalised your poem will be, I can also work with just a few short ideas. As long as you can give me a few key points, I’m confident we can create something wonderful.

How will I receive my poem?

You’ll receive your poem as a digital file, a formatted PDF on your chosen background and a plain white background, as well as a text document. That way you have the freedom to do whatever you’d like with it.

Will I own my poem?

Absolutely, once I’ve written your poem, it’s all yours. You don’t have to tell anyone that it was written for you if you don’t want to and you’re free to share it in any way you’d like.
