If you’d like to commission a Life Lyrics speech, all you have to do is follow a few simple steps:
1. Share Your Ideas
Once you’ve placed your order, I will send you a questionnaire. This is so I can find out who or what the speech is for, what emotions you’d like to evoke from the recipient or audience and the key points that you’d like to include. This is your opportunity to share all your thoughts and ideas, there are ideas to prompt you, but you only have to share what you want to. I can work with as much or as little information as you’d like to provide, bullet points are fine, and no need to worry about spelling or grammar.
2. Review Your Speech
After I’ve received your questionnaire, I’ll go away and write your speech and will email a first draft to you within five working days. This is your chance to check that you’re happy with what I’ve written. I thoroughly recommend that you try reading it out loud as well as in your head to get a true feel for the piece. I’m committed to making your speech perfect. So, if you’d like any changes, we’ll tweak it until you’re entirely happy with it and ready to deliver it with confidence.
3. Make Your Mark
With your finished speech in hand, it’s time to do your bit and deliver it to your audience. Your speech is tailored by and written for you, so it’s completely yours. Make sure to practice reading it, not rush and savour the moment and it’ll be a speech to be proud of.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take you to write my speech?
Each speech is unique and takes a different amount of time. However, once you’ve filled out the questionnaire and we’ve had a chat about what you’d like to achieve, I’ll have a first draft back to you within five working days.
How long should my speech be?
This depends on the purpose. However, for example, most wedding speeches are around three to five minutes long. If you’d like to create something longer or you’d like to have a chat before commissioning your speech, I’d be more than happy to help. Just drop me a message at lianne@lifelyrics.co.uk
What if I don’t have enough ideas?
That’s what I’m here for. As well as asking you to fill out a questionnaire with some prompts for ideas and inclusions, we’ll have a chat over the phone. I’ve got lots of experience in interviewing people and am sure I can help you discover ideas for your speech that you didn’t even know you had.
